    Biography

    Captain Angelo served as a Naval Flight Officer of VP-46 (Flight Navigator/Tactical Coordinator) with two air combat tours in Vietnam. His other duties included air crew training officer and in addition he served as operational readiness inspector for Fleet Air Wing 11 (FAW-11) for squadrons deploying in combat areas in Southeast Asia.

    Captain Angelos experience as corporate flight director/chief pilot, involved planning and implementation of flight crews, progressive maintenance, and scheduling in order to facilitate the daily functions of a corporate flight department. During this period, Captain Angelo also did contract work (Rockwell International) as a check airman for corporate cabin class turbo-props.

    Captain Angelo, while with United Airlines, served as a flight engineer (B-727), and retired as an international captain on B-757, B-767. He also served as a first officer on the B-737 and captain qualified on the B-747-400. His international routes included: Europe, UK, Australia, New Zealand, South America, Asia, South East Asia, North America, etc.

    Captain Angelo, while employed at CAE Simuflite as an instructor pilot simulator, earned the titles of FAA DPE/TCE and JAA/UK DPE/SFE on DA-7X and DA-Easy. 

    Captain Angelo was authorized to conduct initial and recurrent training on DA-7X and DA-Easy as well as issuing ATP certificates and type ratings. Captain Angelo participated in and created an approved FAA CAT II technique and flight crew procedures for the Da-7X and DA-Easy. Captain Angelo also developed the steep arrival approval for the DA-7X at the London City Airport. Captain Angelo, along with the personnel at Dassault, helped create flight profiles and crew research managements for normal, abnormal, and emergency procedures. Captain Angelo worked with many Fortune 500 Corporations, a few of which were: City Corp., AT&T, Walmart, Bloomberg, American Express, etc. Captain Angelo also worked with many international corporations from Europe and South America, and also coordinated certification of foreign nationals while working with their equivalent civil aviation authority.

    Captain Angelo has been involved in every aspect of aviation as well as being involved in unrelated businesses. Captain Angelo was a participant in the start up of schedule and non schedule FAA-135 operations utilizing regional turbo props ( Air Speed Inc., Royal Air). In the fields of fitness and construction, Captain Angelo has acted as an owner/operator and consultant. He was instrumental in developing sports fitness programs, and as a result, had various clients, i.e. college (Boston College football team), Prep schools (Austin Prep.) and many high schools.
