Biography:
Ms Cyndy Mickevicius joined the SPECTRUM Group in January of 2008 as a member of the Youth Programs Division, with a main emphasis on the DoD STARBASE program. STARBASE is a nationally based educational program that raises the interest and improves the knowledge and skills of youth in the areas of math, science, and technology.
Ms. Mickevicius has over twenty years of experience with high school students and education programs beginning with teaching high school chemistry and physics. In recent years she has worked with the Education Division at the American Chemical Society to develop and establish programs for high school students and teachers. As the project manager for teacher training, Ms. Mickevicius coordinated, & evaluated the ACS residential workshops for high school chemistry teachers throughout the nation.
Ms. Mickevicius holds a bachelor of science, masters in education and a certificate in event management. In addition, she has worked on various research projects and has several publications as a result.
