Biography:
Mr. Littig has extensive experience in federal government relations spanning the past twenty-six years, where he served in a variety positions directly involved with congressional funding and as a senior aide to a high level Department of Defense official. As Chief of the Army Legislative Liaison Office in the House of Representatives, he led over forty delegations to sixty-two countries on five continents in support of fact finding and national defense objectives.
Following his Army career, Mr. Littig joined a major defense and technology firm in their Washington office as Director of Government Affairs with primary responsibility for the House of Representatives, and dealt with issues ranging from compartmented access programs supporting the National Reconnaissance Office to the introduction of air traffic control equipment into the Republic of Georgia. He has served as Chairman of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) Legislative Committee.
Prior to joining The Spectrum Group, Jim Littig was a principal and co-founder of Congressional Strategies, LLC. Previously he was the vice president in an internationally focused marketing and lobbying firm.
Education:
Mr. Littig holds a BS in Zoology & Entomology from the University of Utah. He is a graduate of the Armed Forces Staff College, Norfolk, VA and also a graduate of the US Army War College at Carlisle, PA.
