- Admiral Lopez is a member of the Navy Division at SPECTRUM. He has extensive expertise in Navy programs and operations, manpower, and peacekeeping operations.
Biography:
Admiral T. Joseph Lopez has worked in executive positions in the private sector following a distinguished 40 year Navy career, culminating in his service as Commander in Chief, U.S. Naval Forces, Europe and Commander in Chief, Allied Forces, Southern Europe. He is one of two officers in Navy history to rise to the rank of four stars after direct commissioning from enlisted service. He has served in ship and shore assignments in Vietnam, the Persian Gulf, and the Balkan conflicts.
Subsequent to his retirement, Admiral Lopez was Chief Operating Officer of Brown and Root Services in 2000-2001 and later a Senior Vice President of Kellogg, Brown and Root from 2001 until his retirement from Halliburton in July, 2004. He also served as President of the Information Manufacturing Corporation, an information technology service integrator.
Education:
Admiral Lopez holds a B.A. (Cum Laude) in International Relations, and a Master of Science in Personnel Management from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School.
