- Mr. Pignatella is a member of the Army Division at SPECTRUM. He has extensive experience at all levels of Air Defense Artillery (ADA) weapons systems acquisition, operations, development, organization and test and evaluation.
Biography:
Mr. Sam J. Pignatella has extensive experience at all levels of Air Defense Artillery (ADA). He currently provides technical expertise to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), Army Evaluation Command, the Global Missile Defense Program Office and White Sands Missile Range.
Mr. Pignatella is the owner and CEO of Paladin Associates and currently provides independent consulting services to multiple government agencies and defense support organizations. He serves on several independent Graybeard panels providing independent expertise to senior level officials. He opened the Operational Evaluation Command (AEC) Field Office in January 1995. Other key assignments include: THAAD Program Coordinator for Lockheed Missile and Space Corporation at White Sands Missile Range; and Senior Analyst for CAS, Inc. on Forward Area Air Defense Systems in support of TRADOC System Manager (TSM) for Forward Area Air Defense Systems (FAADS).
Mr. Pignatella served 22 years on active duty with the U.S. Army as Chief Warrant Officer Four, including key assignments in air defense test and evaluation, and air defense advisory roles to Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
Education:
Mr. Pignatella holds Bachelors Degrees in History and Electronics from New York University. His military education includes Nike-Hercules, Safeguard and Hawk Maintenance Courses. He also attended the Army Warrant Officer Senior Course and the Army Test and Evaluation Management Course.
