- Mr. Wyman is a member of the Army, Defense Agencies, and International Business Divisions at SPECTRUM. He has extensive experience in domestic and international wireless telecommunications, information technology, and aerospace.
Biography:
Mr. Sam Wyman has held senior executive management positions with both public and private companies including Harris Corporation, Digital Microwave Corporation, Booz Allen and Hamilton, BEI Defense Corporation; and General Dynamics, where he has been responsible for profit and loss, engineering, manufacturing, sales and marketing, international subsidiaries, joint ventures and acquisitions. His international experience includes Europe, China, Africa, South and Central America, the Pacific Rim, Mexico and Canada.
Mr. Wyman served in the White House Science Office as a Senior Policy Analyst where he was Executive Secretary of the FCCSET Committee on International Technology and a member of the Aeronautical Policy Review Committee. He held senior positions at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) where he was responsible for a variety of international and classified prototype projects. He served as a Research Officer with NASA and as an Assistant Program Manager for the Apache AH-64 Attack Helicopter.
Mr. Wyman is a Member of the Board of a Washington DC think tank, providing consulting services to the Department of Defense and a member of the Investment Committee of Sweetwater Capital Management LLC, a private investment company focusing on defense and aerospace companies.
Education:
Mr. Wyman graduated from the U.S. Military Academy with a B.S. degree and later earned an M.S.O.R degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He served as a Research Officer with NASA and as an Assistant Program Manager for the Apache AH-64 Attack Helicopter.
