- Mr. Skoczynski directs the SPECTRUM Warsaw office and is a member of the International Business Division at SPECTRUM. He has expertise in business development, marketing, and mergers and acquisitions and has extensive knowledge of the NATO market.
Biography:
Mr. Tad Skoczynski is an international business executive with over twenty years of experience in business development, marketing, and mergers and acquisitions. He is a non-governmental expert in the economic reconstruction of newly liberated countries, having played a significant role in Poland, and then in Albania, when these countries converted to market economies. He is currently active in developing business opportunities in the reconstruction of Iraq.
Mr. Skoczynski is also engaged in the NATO market, where he has led the creation of a Poland-based consortium for strategic infrastructure-building activities in the new NATO member states in Central and Eastern Europe. This consortium provides a wide array of professional services to both public and private sector clients. Its members have over 18 years of experience with direct project management and construction activity in Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Central Asia.
Mr. Skoczynski is currently the CEO and majority owner of the Elba-Onyx Enterprises, Inc., a joint venture based in Poland active in military and civilian infrastructure construction projects in Eastern Europe. Previously, he worked as an architect in New York specializing in the conversion of existing structures into housing units. In 1991 he became Technology Director in a private company-providing exhibition services for aerospace companies in air shows, and worked in France, England, UAE, Singapore, China and Chile. He had full responsibility for the creation of the US Pavilion at the Air Show in Dubai in 1991.
Education:
Mr. Skoczynski was born in Poland and is a graduate (magna cum laude) of the Warsaw Technical University. He came to the United States in 1981 and became a US citizen.
