Biography:
Mr. Tom Owens joined SPECTRUM after ten years of successful service as the Director of Air Force Programs, Washington Operations, The Boeing Company. As Director of Air Force Programs, Mr. Owens led all marketing activity with Headquarters, United States Air Force, the Office of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Office of the Secretary of Defense. He played supporting roles in relationships with Congress, international customers and major suppliers.
Previous to his career with Boeing, he completed a 28-year career in the United States Air Force, highlighted by several flying assignments in the F-4 Phantom and the F-15 Eagle. He has been a Group Commander, Wing Commander and has received numerous decorations including four Legions of Merit, two Distinguished Flying Crosses, and twenty Air Medals.
Education:
Mr. Owens received a B.S. and commission from the U.S. Air Force Academy. He is a graduate of the USAF Fighter Weapons School, The National War College, and The Boeing Executive Leadership Program.
