PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Mr. Rancatore supports clients in U.S. Air Force, Department of Defense, and commercial aviation legislative affairs and business arenas. He delivers extensive expertise built from a 35-year USAF and commercial aviation background.

Prior to joining The SPECTRUM Group, Mr. Rancatore served in the USAF Reserves, retiring at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. In his last assignment, he served in the National Security and Space Office for the Office of the Secretary of Defense. He previously served as the Director for Commercialization of Human Space Flight, and as the Assistant Chief for Space Science Research. In previous roles he developed, coordinated, and marketed within the Department of Defense and to Congress the framework for the National Center of Excellence for Energy Neutrality. Mr. Rancatore enlisted in the Air Force and served as an aviator and officer over his 29 years of service.

In addition to his work at The SPECTRUM Group, Mr. Rancatore is a Captain for American Airlines, with operational experience across the entire American Airlines fleet (Airbus 300-600R, A319/320/321; Boeing 737-800 NG and MAX, 757, 767, 777; Fokker 100; McDonnell-Douglas MD-80 and MD-11 and B727 flight engineer experience.
